The biggest ski area in Southern Sweden
The Isaberg is a popular winter sports area in Hestra.
6 ski lifts are transporting around 7000 people an hour to seven lighted runs with different degrees of difficulty. New for this season is a 4-seat sit lift that will support the existing 6-seat sit lift that opened last year. In addition a couple of runs have been widened and extended and cross-country skiers will find kilometers of partly lighted trails. Ski shop, ski rental, and restaurants are all nearby.
Within a radius of a few kilometers you will find gourmet restaurants, hotels and conference facilities, good value lunch restaurants with home style cooking, pizzerias, vacation village, campgrounds, and a youth hostel.
You can reach the Isaberg area from route 26 (also called “Nissastigen”) in west Småland in connection to E6 in Halmstad.
My vacation home is only a 10 – 15 minute drive away from Isaberg.
